Review of He Was a Quiet Man (2007) by Chris D — 06 Jun 2008
Christian Slater is great as Bob, a disgruntled cubicle worker who thinks his goldfish talks to him, and who keeps a gun in his desk drawer. Each day he loads the gun, one bullet at a time, imagining which jerks at his office will get it.
A surprise twist makes Bob an unwitting (and unwilling) office hero. This is a dark, twisted black comedy/drama with great performances from Slater, Elisha Cuthbert and William H. Macy.
