A pretty fine script ruined by heavy handed directing. A film that should have been pitched around a bit more and directed by a DIRECTOR, not a writer.
The film just feels so bland and uninvolving to watch. Christian Slater is there, but I cannot get past the cheap look, mediocre "wait for my line" acting, and poor production design.
