Review of He Was a Quiet Man (2007) by Goran R — 15 Oct 2008
A story of a 'loser' in his mid 50s whose only wish is to be appreciated and respected among his work colleagues. A somewhat predictable story about a man who works for successful American company but is deeply unsatisfied with his position and his life in general. Unable to find his was around bulliying bosses and beautiful but cold female co-workers, he drifts away into another world of murder, love and intrigue. There is also a social message about the brutality of 'climbig the corporate ladder' in America.
A good movie with some good elements of drama buth without enough poise and persuasion.
