Review of He Was a Quiet Man (2007) by Ben F — 11 May 2009
A very good film. Deals with alienation and social dysfunction. There's a twist ending that isn't to hard to see coming, but it works well enough anyway. All together it isn't earth-shattering but is very much worth watching.
Note that Christian Slater is in the leading role. In general Christian Slater is awful, but in this film he is quite frankly stunning. This film works because Slater does a fantastic job. It's hard to believe.
