Review of He Was a Quiet Man (2007) by Clayton C — 07 Nov 2009
This was quite the tragedy. There really is no better way to say it all. A tragic man, down a tragic path, overcome by the tragedies that made and became of him. Christian Slater was quite good, but production values and story really put this movie outside of the real good class. The core of the story was good, but the usual story elements were there and there was no real originality. Nevertheless, the main character and his plight are explored in a more intimate way, which does enrich the movie, but that's all it was going on.
Its worth a watch, but don't be too amazed by it.
