Review of He Named Me Malala (2015) by Kyle B — 29 Dec 2015
A solid documentary about an extraordinary story that may be a little too scattered with not much of a focus in this documentary but still works. I really loved the animated sequences that recreated scenes that recalled Malala or her family's life in Pakistan.
It's definitely worth seeing and even more important to see as more and more opinions towards Muslims are jumbled by bad Muslims getting press rather than great Muslims like Malala and her family that just seek peace and the right to education.
