Review of He Loves Me… He Loves Me Not (2002) by Lee R — 29 May 2011
A cleverly constructed attempt to subvert Tautou's Amelie character, this is an altogether darker, bleaker tale of obsession. I won't spoil the major twist, though once it's been revealed you have to accept that it's a bit of a slow ride as we get every little detail properly explained.
But it's still worth a watch. And there's a deliciously dark visual twist right at the end which made me want to stand up and clap. Yes.
