Solid effort. It's different from the rest of Lee's films, but it's just as good. I liked the use of breaking down the fourth wall, and all the great spike lee cornerstones, Filters, floating camera. He just goes good, but seems like he tried way to o hard to make a film that was oustanding ,but he put in a good effort.
Washington and Lee is like Deniro and Scorsase, they have just some great chemistry, and the peformance he gave works in this. As it carries a rather lifeless film into new heights. Not one of Lee's best, but it's still good.
