Review of He Got Game (1998) by Ted D — 16 Jun 2008
One of the most underrated films of all time. This is also one of the best, most original sports movie of all time, next to Raging Bull. Amazing performances from the cast, including Ray Allen! Also, while others complained about it being "too graphic", the grittiness is actually partly what made it such a fine film.
Its realistic portrayal of a basketball Prospect was amazing. Props to Spike Lee and the rest of the crew!
