Review of He Got Game (1998) by Lucas Y — 03 Mar 2009
Even if Ray Allen was a terrible actor it would've been good casting. The guy has the most beautiful jump shot. He looks like he was born to play basketball, and the character he plays was raised to play basketball.
But the thing is Ray can act. He manages to play right with Denzel, making the father son dynamic so great to watch. Denzel is once again great. And that ending shot hits the perfect tone to sum up the entire movie.
