Review of He Got Game (1998) by Nick Z — 17 Mar 2009
A Spike Lee'd version of Blue Chips, akin to ESPN's "Playmakers" in its brutally honest (and perhaps over-honest) portrayal of college basketball recruiting. Ray Allen is an awful actor, but I hear he is pretty good at his day job, so that's OK.
Love the cameos by John Wallace, Walter McCarty, Travis Best and the voice cameos of Gus Johnson and Ray Clay.
