Review of He Got Game (1998) by Clint D — 12 Mar 2010
Definitely one of, if not Spike Lee's strongest work. The performances are powerhouse from Denzel and who knew Ray Allen could act? The reason I love this movie so much though is how beautifully it's shot and how it makes the game of basketball look like ballet especially when you throw in the classical score from Copland during the hoops scenes.
