No spectacular action and no real mystery make Haywire a failed attempt at thrilling the viewer. While Gina Carano's performance might be impressive, the story lacks depth and imagination. Unnecessary longueurs make it far from suspenseful.
Even the star-packed cast isn't able to persuade that this butt-kicking tale of revenge has the guts to hold a strong position in the action genre. Soderbergh tries hard, but in the end only the way he uses Carano's abilities and skills remains worth a closer look.
