Review of Haywire (2011) by Paul V — 08 Sep 2012
There is some tremendous fight choreography in this film. I am a believer in Gina Carano, she carried this film with a punch and personality. I also dug the music choices, pulling brass sounds from the 20's and mixing it with the swaggering sounds of 70's jazz.
Also, I appreciated the occasional choice to use no music at all. This film built a lot of momentum, and then slightly tapered off. But, it was still an enjoyable ride.
