Review of Haywire (2011) by Martin I — 09 Sep 2012
A great show-piece for the talents of Carano, Haywire delivers some visceral fight scenes amongst an intriguing story hold with a welcome lack of exposition. However; a befuddling score, poor character development and lack of tension leads to an overall empty feeling once the credits role. You're never really made to feel anything for the central character or care who, or why, she has been set up. Soderbergh has made much better films.
