Review of Haywire (2011) by Jimmy R — 19 May 2013

While I'm a huge fan of Gina Carano, Haywire is mediocre at best. Carano commands attention every time she's on screen but her fight scenes are where she dominates. She could potentially be a decent actress with a couple of lessons (and possibly the same vocal coach that helped Kathy Ireland stop talking like a chipmunk) as her voice is so deep that another actor's voice was dubbed in to replace hers.

Channing Tatum has yet to impress me as an actor and this movie did nothing to improve my impression of his abilities. It wasn't terrible, just could have been a bit better.
