Review of Hawking (2004) by Hung-Ya L — 16 Mar 2013
Put aside the fact that Stephen Hawking already divorced his first wife, Jane, while you are watching this biography movie. One simply needs to enjoy the years when S. Hawking dealt with his disease, did his early brilliant discoveries of black holes and confirmation of the Big Bang theory, courtship with Jane, etc.
Benedict Cumberbatch is an able actor to put on performances of how the disabled person acted or talked in his daily life. If you have read S. Hawking's Brief History of Time or already way too familiar with his theories, scientific terms in this movie would not be a problem at all because they did not go into too much detail or deep stuff at all.
Stephen Hawking has made Albert Einstein beautiful indeed.
