Surprisingly good, if now somewhat dated. Enjoyable adventure, with more than a little darkness.
Jack Palance steals the film as an excellent villain, but the ensemble is generally pretty good.
Probably one of the best fantasy films before the recent Lord of the Rings trilogy.
