Review of Havoc (2005) by Obed O — 08 Dec 2008
This movie was a bit disappointing, it collapsed under the pressure of attempting to depict the intricacies of race relations AND teenage angst. The only decent acting in the movie was delivered by Rodriguez and not Hathaway (who was actually awarded Best Actress in a DVD Premiere Movie by the DVD Exclusive Awards), would have liked to seen a better performance from Gordon-Levitt.
One aspect of the movie I did like were the monologues Hathaway shared for her friend's documentary; I think I took more from the movie from her monologues than from the contrived plot.
