Nature abhors a vacuum, and an empty life, it seems. This story of teenagers trying to find meaning in their lives by filling it with alcohol, drugs and sex never quite hits the mark. The story often feels overly on the nose.
Not much of significance happens and as a result, the message at the end never sticks.
