Review of Haven (2004) by Emile T — 23 May 2008
At the beginning I was thinking this film was going to be nothing special; it seemed like a million other mediocre films, but I kept watching, and I'm glad I did.
The film is predictably packaged as, "Look at this movie with Orlando Bloom in it that no one has seen or heard of", but what makes it special isn;t Bloom.
It's the story, and some of the other actors. It's the pacing, and the play with time and scenes.
Great rent or if you can find it to DVR like we did.
