Review of Haunter (2013) by Richard D — 23 Aug 2014
Look ... Abigail Breslin is all grown up and starring in highly derivative haunted house films for the director of "Cube". Take "Groundhog Day", "The Others" and throw in a bit of "The Sixth Sense", and you largely have this movie.
The best that can be said is that you will expect it to be awful, and ultimately it's pretty okay. Stephen McHattie goes a long way towards saving this one from the dust heap. Because this is a modern Canadian genre film, David Hewlett appears .
.. as I believe federal law mandates.
