Review of Hating Breitbart (2012) by Jenny B — 31 Oct 2012
I was blown away by this movie. I expected to be watching a documentary about Andrew, the man, but instead it was his incredibly powerful hypothesis about the media's control, as seen through the lens of Andrew.
Breitbart himself is charming, funny, passionate, and caring in the movie, and says himself that he vacillates between two moods, "jocularity and righteous indignation." Many of those who view him as a mentor refer to him as a general in the battle for the country.
When you watch this movie, you can see why. Hating Breitbart is a fascinating movie, that I was either laughing out loud through, or seething with anger at the evidence they prevent about calculated media bias.
It's actually one of the most enlightening political movies I've seen, with new ideas and ways to understand our political landscape. But it's above all entertainment, you don't have to know Andrew Breitbart or what his ideas were to go.
It's a fantastic movie that was so fun to watch. Andrew Breitbart has been done proud by this movie that I hope everyone sees, regards of their interest in, or affiliations with, either side of the political aisle.
RIP Andrew Breitbart, you changed the world.
