When I heard there was a new sequel to the awesome 2006 film "Hatchet," I was excited. That excitement turned to disappointment within the first few minutes of watching "Hatchet II." It is a major step back from its predecessor in every way, and I was genuinely shocked to find that both films have the same director.
The film's only saving grace is scream queen Danielle Harris's solid performance. If I didn't have to return the DVD back to Netflix, I would take an actual shit on it.
