Review of Hatchet II (2010) by Slappy M — 21 Mar 2011
This was a really disappointing follow up to a really good old school style slasher/horror flick.
Even though the writer/director is the same it doesn't have the same feel to it. It comes across more like a student film that happens to continue where the first Hatchet left off.
The fact that Tamara Feldmen didn't return as Marybeth didn't help things either.
A brief cameo from Lloyd Kaufman and more screen time for Tony Todd can't make this as successful as the first.
