Review of Hatchet (2006) by Vince K — 14 Jun 2009
Kane Hodder stars as a disfigured killer in this hilarious horror comedy. Even the kills are funny. The movie is an obvious homage to Friday the 13th, so it was cool they got the guy who played Jason. Loved the kills, BUZZSAW TO FACE, SHOVEL DECAPITATON, HACKED BY HATCHET IN TWO, ARMS RIPPED OFF, THROWING HEADS AND TORSOS AT PEOPLE, HEAD RIPPED OFF AT JAW - TONGUE FLAPPING AROUND! There are two small cameos by Robert Englund (Freddy) and Tony Todd (Candyman).
Too small of roles, that could of been played by anyone. But altogether an entertaining slasher flick, with plenty of blood and guts. AND EVERYONE DIES! YEAH!
