I thoroughly enjoyed this adventure in Africa. The driving and camera work was top notch. John Wayne is super playing the leader of the group, and is hilarious in his interactions with Dallas (especially the cold cream kissing).
My favourite character is definitely Pockets, played perfectly by Red Buttons ... a hot bath? ;-) Baby Elephant Walk is incredibly fun. Is there anyone who scores a movie (writes themes) better than Mancini?
