Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) by Bruce722 — 31 Dec 2012
This was just as good as the first two movies, probably even better if I were to ignore the book. The problem is, the book was outstanding and this movie had more variation than either of the first two adaptations.
And as I have said numerous times before, I understand that certain things must be changed or cut out entirely for time purposes but in this movie there were plenty of things they needlessly added and many other things they changed that had no reason to be changed whatsoever.
Change for changes sake is rarely good. Still, it was a good movie but I'm interested to see how they adapt the much larger books that follow this one.
