Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) by Elliot F — 10 Jan 2013
As we move through the HP series, the Prisoner of Azkaban terrifically displays the increasing maturity of the characters and storytelling. Gone is the silly dialogue that held back the second movie from being truly adult and present are a combination of good action with the wands and spells (finally) and intricate deceptive plot lines filled with magic and emotion.
Gary Oldman is an added bonus and you can't help but feel he'll be in the future movies down the road. I still feel like we also haven't seen enough of Alan Rickman as Sirius! Maybe the 4th movie changes that as well.
