Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) by Noah B — 02 Dec 2013
Hands down the best Harry Potter, film, Prisoner of Azkaban is dark, scary, funny and moving all at once. Characters grow and change, and Harry learns more about his past. Emma Watson's Hermione is the standout performance, though, brilliantly and convincingly owning the girl-power role.
As for the film's final act, that's where it goes from "good" to "great". A true modern classic and possibly the best book-to-screen adaptation of all time.
