Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) by Bo L — 27 Jul 2014
While perhaps not the best Harry Potter film it captures the innocence and magic of the first films while stepping it up in terms of maturity and quality of film.
While the story is okay it does miss out on some big elements which get lost in it's new sensibilities and character driven drama trademark of Cuaron.
Filmic it is an incredible feat that stands out in the series as the artistic film that grows darker and still maintains an incredible wonder of everything magical while moving the story along with heart and maturity.
