Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) by Dennis M — 01 Jan 2015
The third installment of the franchise is a dumb downed version of the books as many important elements are missing. The atmosphere of this movie is so much gloomier than the first two making it less enjoyable.
Also the replacement for Dumbledore does a terrible job. Michael Gambon fails to provide the essence of the character as Richard Harris did in the first two films. Gambon was the biggest disappointment of this movie and unfortunately he is going to stay on as Dumbledore for the remainder of the series.
