Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) by Najd G — 03 Jan 2016
Bringing about a darker and grittier Harry Potter as its stars enter their teenage years, The Prisoner of Azkaban offers a much-needed shift in the direction of the franchise. Daniel Radcliffe gives arguably his best performance to date, and Gambon gives an adaptation of Dumbledore that works much better for the big screen (even if it is less true to the source material).
The third installment of the Harry Potter franchise delivers on all fronts, taking an incredibly compelling novel and bringing it to life in a truly compelling manner.
