Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) by Lyle B — 20 Mar 2015
Big fan of the books - which is why this film was a bit of a let down. James Potter, Sirius Black and Peter Pategrew became animagus so that they could run with Remus Lupin when he turned into a werewolf.
The movie had him attacking Sirius when he transformed into a dog. The other thing that bothered me was the change in setting. The whomping willow which was in the courtyard in Chamber of secretes changes location to the mountain in this Prisoner of Azkaban.
If you haven't read the books, I suppose it doesn't make a difference. Not a bad movie, but by far my least favourite of the series.
