Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) by Kathleen R — 29 Aug 2012
This still remains to me as the best Harry Potter movie ever made. Every frame and every scene was made more magical by Alfonso Cuarón's unimaginable talent. He gave new color (as dim and gloomy as it may seem) to what was already an outstanding book.
Cuarón did not just captured the growth and danger the books presented, he might've solidified movies' footing that this ain't just a franchise or a series of stories, this is but one story, one hero, one villain, one world.
This is magic. Alfonso Cuarón gave true justice to J.K.Rowling's historic masterpiece (and yes am a bit bias, since POA was my personal favorite movie and book).
