The addition of Gary Oldman to the cast, as well as the change of Dumbledores, help make the third Harry Potter entry the first strong one. The younger actors are better, the story is more exciting, and the scripting improves.
This is the first emotionally involving Harry Potter movie, even while some of the characters remain hard to love.
