Review of Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban (2004) by Tiberio S — 04 Nov 2014
It may seem too dark too soon for the franchise, especially since Voldemort doesn't even play a role in this story, but so dark feels the average 13 year old that it appropriately and eerily reflects a focused reliving of a certain aspect of director Alfonso Cuaron's life.
His filmmaking is so excellent that I'm forced to look past the placement in the franchise, rather absorbing myself into an artists craft who is desperately needing to grow as a filmmaker. John Williams ups his game for Cuaron's bold vision, delivering his finest score since A.
I.
