Review of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) by Matt M — 20 Jun 2018
The story of a young boy with a great destiny, who enters the Hogwarth School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The start of a franchise that was to become one of the most important and prolific in cinema history.
This first addition is really still more fun for a young audience, with its blend of fun and dark mystery, but for anyone who isn't a fan of the saga, it is quite dull, too long and even a little formulaic.
