Review of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) by David A — 11 Jul 2013
Sure, the film becomes great at the beginning of the 2nd half, but that doesn't save it from its overexposed and sluggish first half of the filn that bores the living daylight out of me. Nevertheless, it has enough humor and sentimentality to cure it from certain disaster.
Alan Rickman rocks as Severus Snape, though.
