Review of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) by Nicholas M — 10 Jul 2014
The acting is pretty mediocre (aside from Alan Rickman), it follows the book way too closely leaving little surprise, and a lot of scenes are flat-out unnecessary, but with a fantastic score from John Williams, some fun scenes, and an intriguing premise, Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone is a fun movie that, in fact, I can actually watch over and over and still have a good time.
