Review of Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone (2001) by Simon D — 09 Aug 2014

So I've given in to the hype and decided that I'd better watch this film series if for nothing more than being able to contribute at the inevitable quiz round. I gotta say, the story isn't bad, the effects are good and, as a kids fantasy film, it's not bad.

The kids in the film, however, are so bloody annoying that it's a difficult watch for me. I will persevere in the hope that, as they grow up as actors, they improve and the feeling I get to punch them subsides.
