A Pedra Filosofal é um marco de uma geração. Esse talvez seja o filme mais marcante de toda a franquia, pois é nele que que toda a jornada visual começa. Não é o melhor filme da franquia, mas é uma ótima introdução pra uma saga que no futuro evoluiu muito.
