Review of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) by Stanleyf. — 16 Jul 2007

I found the movie reasonably enjoyable, with good special effects and action sequences. However, after a good start it quickly became rather jerky and telegraphic in pacing. I suspect many not familiar with the story may find it confusing.

Because of the frenetic editing style, character development was limited. I also found the egregious addition of a new type of attack magic detracted from the believability of the climactic sequence.
