Review of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) by Max G — 24 Oct 2013

I honestly admit that this 5th entry is the weakest of the 8 films due to the annoyance with the Umbridge character dragging on in the way of the nervous student body defense-learning most of the time throughout a seemingly overlong movie that drags.

What is still redeeming is the new characters such as Tonks, Luna, and Bellatrix, added with comic relief later (the Weasley twins crashing up the test day in rebellion against Umbridge). The climax with Voldemort dueling Dumbledore into a stalemate and possessing Harry gripped me.
