Review of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) by Logan K — 01 Jan 2015
David Yates takes over directing duties for this next Harry Potter film and it seemed his mission was to create a bleaker version of Prisoner of Azkaban. Mission succeeded. This movie is just way too grim to be enjoyable.
On the bright side the story is well written and Radcliffe gives a memorable performance as Harry Potter. But, then again, Michael Gambon's portrayal of Dumbledore is just so painful, anything positive about this movie is forgotten immediately.
