Review of Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix (2007) by Mahmood A — 26 Jun 2013
Am I the only one who thinks that for the most part, The Order of the Phoenix is pointless? Sure, you've got a long stretch of 'Voldemort's back and we need to show the effects it has on people' and the movie does that well, but considering all the empty voids of pointless 'school' and 'friends' scenes, this is just killing time until sh*t can hit the fan in Part 6? If anything, Order of the Phoenix does well on it's own merits and is worthy of a positive review and a way better way to get into this chapter of the Harry Potter story instead of reading the ass numbingly long fifth book.
