Review of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) by Woo K — 23 Mar 2013
It was great to laugh during a Harry Potter film again, just because Order of The Phoenix was such a dark film with little humor in it, it was great to see and hear some jokes again. There is much more romance in this film than the other five which was nice, it didn't feel forced or fake to me.
The cliffhanger at the end really makes the audience member want to see Year Seven which will be a two part movie that will debut next summer with Part I and Part II that winter. This is my second favorite Potter film after Goblet of Fire.
It is quite long though, two hours and forty minutes with credits so if you are not a fan of sitting in a theater chair for that I suggest you wait until November for the DVD, Blu-Ray, or it to be released on iTunes, XBOX Live Marketplace or The Playstation Network.
