Film 6 (of 8) based on book 6 (of 7), this adaptation could've just as easily have been called "Harry Potter and <>": the half-blood prince bit was pretty much irrelevant!
I felt it was a bit on the slow side: seemed to take an age to work up to the main event (Professor Dumbledore giving it a full-on Gandalf), which was then over in the flash of an eye. Early Potter films (and books) still better, IMO.
