Review of Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince (2009) by Henry E — 22 Dec 2014
Following the supremely dark Order of the Phoenix, the franchise hits an unusually strange mark this time round. We see seemingly pointless quidditch subplots, and a drawn-out romantic episode which, particularly in Harry and Ginny's case, feels boring and unconvincing.
It's only when you reach the eventful finale do you ask yourself, 'what else has actually happened in the last two hours?'.
