Review of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire (2005) by Chuckiek. — 29 Apr 2006
There were many things on the surface that would make the average movie goer rave about it. But being a Harry Potter reader, I just have to say that this movie disappointed me very much. It skipped many important details, as well as leaving out an entire "theme" of the story.
The whole aura surrounding Voldemort is very confusing, and I want to laugh and cry from embarrassment for the directors when the Barty Crouch scene ended so quickly when leaving out pretty much everything that explained why the events happened as well as foreshadowing for the next book.
I seemed to be reading sparknotes of Harry Potter as the scenes in the movie had almost no connecting transitions.
